We found a waterhole, which is a goldmine in Arizona. Day one we had a herd of elk come through. Day two, both turkey and javelina. Day three was the magic number. I missed a monster that would have gone well above 120 inches but managed to make a perfect shot on this little guy. Buck fever, perhaps?

This isn’t my largest Canadian whitetail but it’s one of my favorites. I was hunting with Jimshockey.com on my very first filmed for television hunt back in 1997. It was very warm and all the big bucks were nowhere to be seen. This buck made an appearance at very last light on the very last day of the hunt.

I took this buck last year with Mccreaoutdoors.com. They have over 60,000 acres of low fence private land, proving that you don’t have to go all the way to south Texas for a wall hanger.
It was a dry year and this buck had lost 10 inches from the 2010 Cuddeback pictures.
