Adam Crumrin's Slam Page

Adam Crumrin of Martinsville, Illinois is an avid bowhunter. He got his start around age 9 when his parents got him his first bow but never would have guessed the passion it would soon ignite in him. He started bowhunting whitetails at age 14, but with high school sports really never had the time to hunt other than weekends and holidays. It wasn’t really until after college when Adam could spend the time hunting and pursuing monster whitetail the way he desired, spending every free minute in the woods trying to think like a weary old buck, figuring out why they do the things they do and go the places they go.
He learned early on that there is a big difference in “deer hunting” and hunting for mature bucks.  He believes the only way to do this is with aerial photos, topo maps, trailcam photos and countless hours year around in the woods. Adam harvested his first buck in 1994 it was a 160” class whitetail. Adam then decided if it wasn’t P&Y he was not harvesting it. Outside of his full time job with the Illinois Department of Transportation he manages his family’s small Illinois farm for big whitetails with food plots and proper doe management, Adam has went on to kill over 20 bucks with his bow, 3 of which gross over 170” and one is over 190”.
Adam has always tried to film his hunts but never tried to get the shot on camera.  In 2005 Adam took his hunting to a new level when he was asked by the owner of Lone Wolf Treestands to start self-filming his own hunts for a new show that would air on TV.  Since then Adam has work with one of his boyhood ideals in the world of bowhunting and trapping Tom Miranda.  He has been a part of Whitetail Country on ESPN and Dominant Bucks on the Outdoor Channel.
